Booking and quotes
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form or call or text 027 612 2522. Every home is different, so we give you a clear quote for your job before any work starts.
What areas do you cover?
Christchurch and the wider Canterbury area, including Rolleston, Lincoln, Kaiapoi and Rangiora. If you're not sure, just ask.
What are your hours?
We work Monday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm.
Do you clean commercial properties?
Yes. We clean offices, shops and rental properties, and can often work in the evening or on Saturdays.
On the day
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
Yes, please. We ask everyone to vacuum beforehand, and most people do. If it hasn't been done, we'll vacuum first, which may add to the cost.
Do I need to move furniture?
Please move small items, fragile pieces and anything on the floor. We can work around larger furniture and will talk it through when you book.
Do I need to be home?
Only to let us in and walk through the job. Plenty of customers leave a key for end-of-tenancy and rental cleans.
Is it safe for my kids and pets?
Yes. We use professional-grade, low-residue products that are safe for children and pets once the carpet is dry.
What equipment do you use?
A Hydramaster Boxxer 318 truck-mounted extraction unit. The machine stays in the van, so it's quieter indoors and delivers far more heat and suction than a portable machine.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $1 million in public liability insurance.
After the clean
How long does the carpet take to dry?
It depends on the weather and the carpet. On a warm, breezy day it can be dry in about an hour. In cold, damp weather, thick or wool carpet can take up to 2–3 days, especially in hallways and rooms that get little sun. Opening windows or running a heat pump helps a lot.
Will every stain come out?
Most do. Some, like old dye, bleach spots or burns, have changed the fibre itself and can only be lightened. We test first and tell you honestly before we start.
What if I'm not happy with an area?
Let us know within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-treat that area at no extra cost.
How often should I clean my carpets?
Most homes every 12 to 18 months. Homes with pets, young children or heavy foot traffic often benefit from a clean every 6 to 12 months.
