Christchurch carpet cleaning that makes carpets feel new again.
Cleaned by the owner every time. Truck-mounted hot water extraction for homes and businesses across Christchurch and Canterbury. Deep clean, fast drying, and products that are safe for kids and pets.
How a J.S. clean works
One pass at a time, until the water runs clear.
- 1
Walk-through and pre-inspection
I check fibre type, traffic lanes and stains, tell you honestly what to expect, and vacuum first if it hasn’t been done.
- 2
Pre-spray
A pre-spray that’s safe for kids and pets breaks down oily soil. Heavily soiled areas get extra agitation with a counter-rotating brush machine.
- 3
Hot water extraction rinse
Hot water rinses the fibres and truck-mount suction pulls the dirt out, with a fibre rinse where suitable for a soft, residue-free finish.
- 4
Groom and dry
Where needed I groom the pile so it dries evenly, and give you tips to speed up drying.

Why truck-mounted hot water extraction makes the difference
My extraction machine is built into the van. Only the hoses come inside, so you get more heat and suction than any portable machine can carry through a door.
Hotter water
Heat does a lot of the work. It loosens oils and grime that cold or lukewarm machines leave behind.
Stronger suction
More of the water and dirt comes back out of the carpet, instead of soaking into the backing.
Faster drying
Less moisture left behind means faster drying. How long it takes depends on ventilation, the weather, the carpet fibre and how soiled it was – I’ll give you guidance on the day.

Honest about stains
Most marks lift completely. Some, like old dyes, bleach or heat damage, can only be lightened. I test first and tell you before I start, so there are no surprises on the day.

Questions people ask
How long does the carpet take to dry?
It depends on ventilation, the weather, the carpet fibre and how soiled it was. Thick or wool carpet in cold, damp weather takes longer, especially in hallways and rooms that get little sun. Opening windows or running a heat pump helps a lot. I’ll give you guidance on the day based on your job.
Will every stain come out?
Most do. Some, like old dye, bleach spots or burns, have changed the fibre itself and can only be lightened. I test first and tell you honestly before I start.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
Yes, please. I ask everyone to vacuum beforehand, and most people do. If it hasn't been done, I'll vacuum first, which may add to the cost.
Do I need to move furniture?
Please move small items, fragile pieces and anything on the floor. I can work around larger furniture and will talk it through when you book.
Do I need to be home?
Only to let me in and walk through the job. Plenty of customers leave a key for end-of-tenancy and rental cleans.
