Stain removal that matches the treatment to the stain

Every stain is different. Coffee, red wine, grease and makeup each need a different approach, so we identify what we’re dealing with first and treat it properly instead of scrubbing and hoping.

How we do it

The same careful process on every job, with the same truck-mounted equipment.

  1. 1

    Identify the stain

We look at what caused the mark and what the carpet or fabric is made of.

  2. 2

    Test first

We test the treatment on a hidden spot so there are no surprises.

  3. 3

    Targeted treatment

A spotter chosen for that type of stain is worked gently into the fibres.

  4. 4

    Rinse and extract

Hot water extraction rinses away the stain and the product, so nothing is left to attract new dirt.

Good for

  • Coffee and tea
  • Red wine and fruit juice
  • Food, sauces and grease
  • Makeup, mud and general spills

Good to know

  • Most stains lift completely. Some, like old dyes, bleach spots or burns, have changed the fibre and can only be lightened.
  • Before you call us, blot the spill with a clean white cloth. Don't rub, and avoid household cleaners that can set the stain.
  • Stain treatment is usually part of a full carpet clean, but we can also come out for a few problem spots.

Questions about stain removal

Can every stain be removed?

Most can. We'll always tell you before we start if a mark is unlikely to come out completely, so you know what to expect.

Will the stain come back?

Stains can wick back up when residue is left deep in the carpet. Rinsing with hot water extraction removes the residue, which greatly reduces the chance of that happening.
